Sprung from his performance in Athens -part of the winter/spring European tour- this recording best describes the case for current modular synthesis. Moissonnier’s sound sculpture has a psychedelic, rhythmic underlying pattern similar to early electronic compositions.

Background
Gaël Moissonnier is a French artist and musician from Lyon, currently residing in Brussels. He plays the A-100 Modular Analog Synthesizer, tapes & field recordings, while recent research has been orientated towards “improvised noise synthesis”.
